How a Tankless Water
Heater Works
1.) A hot water tap is turned on.
2.) Water enters the heater.
3.) The flow sensor detects the
water flow.
4.) The computer automatically
ignites the burner.
5.) Water circulates through the
heat exchanger.
6.) The heat exchanger heats the
water to the designated
temperature.
7.) When the tap is shut off,
the unit shuts off.
I’ll never go back to the big, old gas water heater after In Line Plumbing installed our new tankless water heater. It cut our energy costs and gave our family of 6 as much hot water as we needed. In Line Plumbing was great too – Marty explained the whole process and installed the system within hours (even hauled the old water heater away). I changed from a regular water heater to a tankless system for the following reasons:
1. A smaller system - saves space in my utility room.
2. This is a safer system should an earthquake occur.
3. This is a more efficient water heater, which uses far less fuel. In my case propane, my savings have far exceeded my expectations.

My tank water heater located in my garage was replaced and relocated with a Noritz tankless water heater on the outside of my house. Now the hot water does not have to travel as far to get to the bathrooms and laundry. In Line Plumbing rearranged the water piping and the gas piping to make the install work and I don’t have a vent pipe penetrating my roof. I love the endless hot water and the efficiency the tankless water heater supplies.

The Noritz tankless water heater is fantastic. My teenagers could have both showers going at once, and never run out of hot water!
